Trying out my new analog gizmo–the LZX Vidiot.  This is a short test of the device’s live camera input in which I filmed the cone-shaped party hat that came with it against a tube TV playing a VHS tape of a previous jam session produced with Lumen.

An improvised video remix piece performed live during an electronic music show at Photo City Improv on August 6, 2017 in Rochester, NY.  The title derives from the barely recognizable opening sample of the film Brazil (dir. Terry Gilliam) and the melted wax effect generated by the Signal Culture SSSScan app used to produce the piece in conjunction with VDMX, Lumen and Arkaos GrandVJ.  Music: zbxgd (cut-up) by Ethnomite Pux / Production Unit Xero

I’m very pleased to share my original abstract video mix produced for inclusion in the Atlanterium Festival’s dome projection installation which took place Woodruff Park, Piedmont Park and the Mammal Gallery in Atlanta, Georgia during the month of August 2017.  The soundtrack consists of a custom composition by Ethnomite Pux entitled “Grasshopper Death Blow.
